Located on the 6th floor, West Concourse of Hong Kong International Airport Terminal 1, next to Gates 63 and 65, The Pier is Cathay Pacific’s flagship premium lounge. Designed by famous design studio Studio Ilse, it features separate sections for business class and first class. It is accessible to Cathay Pacific premium cabin passengers and Oneworld Sapphire and above members.

The lounge adopts a quiet, residential-style design with bronze and agate green tones. Full-height glass windows face the apron, offering stunning views of Cathay A350 aircraft and Lantau mountains. It has one of the best viewing experiences among all airport lounges in Hong Kong.The lounge is fully equipped with Chinese and Western buffet stations, an all-day bar, private shower rooms, quiet resting booths and work zones. It serves authentic Hong Kong-style food and exclusive lounge fragrance to help passengers relax during long waits.

The window-side viewing area features custom olive-green carpets exclusively laid for this zone. Blending dark and light green tones, the carpet presents smooth geometric lines inspired by Hong Kong’s mountains and coastline. The low-pile texture is quiet, non-slip and matches the lounge’s green agate design theme perfectly.

Functional areas such as dining zones and restrooms use anti-slip floor tiles instead. The unique green carpet at the viewing window has become a classic photo spot for passengers to capture apron and aircraft views.
